About the role

As a Data Scientist at Paperclip, you will be instrumental in analyzing complex data sets to drive actionable insights and inform strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data in improving our innovative solutions across automotive, AI, and insurance technologies. Your expertise will help shape the future of our products and services, making a significant impact on our business and clients.

This role is remote and available globally, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse team from around the world.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to enhance our product offerings.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to integrate data-driven insights into our solutions.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and optimize product features.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of our data strategy and data governance policies.
 

We’re seeking someone with experience including:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
